Jason GLASSFORD, a masters in fine arts candidate in the Department of Art Practice, is a recipient of a Murphy and Cadogan Contemporary Art Award.
The Murphy and Cadogan awards are designed to “help fuel the continued forward-thinking, visual arts movement that makes the Bay area unique,” according to the San Francisco Foundation website. Since 1986, they have supported artists from seven Bay Area MFA programs.
Jason will receive a tuition award of $5,000 and will have the opportunity to exhibit work in the annual Murphy and Cadogan exhibition. Congratulations, Jason!
